"INTERNET STYLE" VISIT:
Feed Back - the JSC has from day one asked for feedback, both positive and negative. A recent suggestion has motivated us to publish some of this feed back. We hope this give you a feel for how people are using the JSC and also the results of the connections from the Jewish Singles Connection site.
Oh yes, we have had 1 very negative response...a lady reported receiving emails from men who where less than courteous. Another complained of abusive language. In another case, a guy wanted off because people responding didn't live near him. JSC is not perfect, but check out the response below and then you decide if it worth a shot!!!!

Bloody marvelous! I stumbled across your page a few months ago, and
hesitantly responded to two ads. I am a British Columbian in the process of
moving to the Eastern seaboard of the US. Imagine my disomfort, alone and
foreign in a strange country. I reponded to two ads looking for a friendly
face, and wouldn't you know it? One is a now a very good friend, the other,

I have enjoyed your website very much and have made alot of email pals.
I had one very bad experience with someone who deliberately
misrepresented his intentions. After emailing and calling almost daily
for a month, we finally decided to meet. I was smitten and was looking
forward to building a relationship together. Seems he left out a few
details -- like he is in love with someone else, that he is getting back
together with her, and he plans to marry her.

Dear JSC,I really must commend whoever is responsible, on their efforts in the establishment of this site. I used to be in Jewish Education and I think the potential is here to really "make a difference" in the fight against assimilation and the fragmentation of the Jewish people. Whether or not Iíll find my true love remains to be seen, but this is certainly a step in the right direction.Regarding the technical aspects of the search engine I have a few pointers which I imagine you have heard but Iíll reiterate. *expand the amount of information in the profiles and the search criteria. *give more details regarding the information to be given, i.e. an example of a profile and number of words allowable in the description.Keep up the good work!

Thanks for deleting my ad. In terms of how it has worked in the real
world, it has and it hasn't. It helped me become friends with someone
when I visited Phoenix. There I was introduced to additional people and made the most wonderful friends. It would not have been the same if I did not initially get to know the person I contacted
via. e-mail.

Yes the Jewish Singles connection is very worthwhile, however, you are notthinking on a large scale. There are those of us who are almost seniors who are also looking to make connection with other singles our age who should be considered. Thanks for listening to me spout off.

Looks great, but: maybe more questions about self will shed more light on what is behind the curtain.
Also, a picture is worth a thousand words, so what about adding photos to complete the picture. I think it would save lots of email and phone talk just to realize that looks are also somewhat important.

It's been working very well. I've met lots of people through the service, but I have not met that special someone yet. All the people I've met have been very nice, educated and fun totalk to. I have probably had about 25-30 responses, and have met 5 of the people personally.

categories for narrowing down personal ads should be according to degree of religiosity, i.e. conservative, orthodox, reformed,
reconstructionist, egalitarian, and whatever else. I think this would
be an appealing and convenient feature for a lot of people. Thanks for

It would be great if there were some kind of search engine to (1) find
say a particular person's posting (2) to search for people in a
particular city and (3) to search for people who posted after a certain
date. Just because, it's a pain in the butt to scroll through countless
listings to find the person I'm looking for.
